“ Care should be taken around non oil-resistant rubber goods. May cause swelling. Fluid Film may soften some vehicle undercoatings. This includes undercoating type paints. Check with dealer/vehicle manufacturer as to compatibility.”

Kellsport Products does not have a procedure to "certify" or "authorize" Fluid Film® undercoaters. The undercoaters listed on this site have represented to us that they are experienced and knowledgeable in vehicle undercoating. Many of these listings have been applying Fluid Film for 10+ years. We do our best to only list undercoaters that are known to us to be reliable and trustworthy.

The cost for Fluid Film undercoat applications vary by the size of the vehicle. A mid-size suv like a Ford Escape will need between 3/4 and 1 gallon for a normal treatment. Most undercoaters will charge $125 - $400 depending on how extensive the job is to be done.

We have heard of undercoaters outside of our network offering Fluid Film® treatments for very low prices ($50-$80).  We highly recommend that you verify that they will be applying Fluid Film® at full strength from a Fluid Film® container and that they will apply at least 3/4 gallon on your mid-size vehicle. Fluid Film® should never be thinned out with any other product for a vehicle undercoat application. Thinning Fluid Film® will greatly reduce the protection level that it will provide.
